Starting her career in Chicago, Kelsie began her Detroit journey over a decade ago in West Village. In 2022, she co-founded Lynwood Studio before going on to launch Studio Vera in Detroit.

Deeply committed to continual growth and education, she has trained under renowned industry experts including Edo Salon (San Francisco), Sal Salcedo (Los Angeles), Johnny Ramirez (Miami), and Lo Wheeler Davis (Los Angeles).

Kelsie is passionate about serving her community, building a dynamic and supportive team, and creating opportunities for stylists who are eager to grow within the city.

She specializes in precision hair cutting and dimensional color, with a signature focus on redheads.

LICENSED STYLIST

After six years in the fashion and textiles industry, Kelsey Craig redirected her creativity toward her true passion — hair. She graduated from the Douglas J Aveda Institute in June 2024 and has since continued to refine her craft through advanced, hands-on training. Kelsey enjoys creating both effortless, easy-to-wear styles and more edgy, fashion-forward cuts. She specializes in lived-in color and color corrections, with a focus on healthy, dimensional results.

Having worked one-on-one and assisted salon owner Kelsie Angst over the past year, Kelsey has developed a strong foundation in both technique and client experience. She values building meaningful relationships with her guests and is passionate about helping them feel confident and aligned with their personal style. Kelsey is currently accepting clients Wednesday through Saturday.

LICENSED STYLIST

New to Detroit from Southern California, Amanda infuses her relaxed, West Coast vibe into her approach to hair color. A balayage expert, she’s renowned for creating soft, sun-kissed highlights that mimic the natural glow of a summer spent outdoors. Amanda honed her freehand painting technique under the guidance of a top celebrity colorist in Los Angeles, perfecting her ability to craft effortlessly blended, dimensional color. She is available for appointments WED—SAT, book your session today!

LICENSED STYLIST

Henna began her journey in Denver, discovering her passion for helping clients feel beautiful while staying true to themselves. She prioritizes personalized consultations and specializes in razor cutting, precision cuts, men’s cuts, and lived-in color. Her passion for education and trends has broadened her talent to be expansive and versatile. She brought her talent to Detroit in 2020 and is focused on providing intentional and individualized services to each guest in her chair.  Henna is available for bookings Wednesday through Friday.

LICENSED ESTHETICIAN

Esther is a Makeup Artist and licensed Esthetician specializing in elevated natural makeup, brow styling, and lash enhancements. Drawn to the beauty industry from a young age, she has an innate talent for delivering beauty treatments that enhance her clients’ natural features. Her pursuit of esthetics allows her to offer services focused on brows, lashes, and skin. Certified in Claudia Odey Signature Brow Shaping and Lamination, as well as Elleebana Lash Lift, she also received advanced education and certifications from MAC Cosmetics. She is available for appointments Tuesday through Friday (and most Saturdays).

LICENSED ESTHETICIAN

Georgia Olson is a licensed esthetician based in Detroit, available for bookings at Studio Vera on Mondays and Wednesdays. With seven years of professional experience, including three years as an esthetics instructor, Georgia is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals—whether enhancing their skin, boosting confidence, or relieving stress. She is dedicated to delivering specialized and impactful treatments tailored to each guest's needs. Georgia’s expertise and love for skin, lashes, and brows shine through in every service she provides.
